The solution, which automates the plant‘s operator activities, was integrated with Glanbia‘s existing Honeywell Experion® Process Knowledge System (PKS) R300 in February 2006. The Profit Controller system paid for itself in its first six months of operation, and has met Honeywell‘s guaranteed payback of investment within 12 months. Glanbia is a global supplier of dairy-based ingredients to the food and beverage industry. The company is using Profit Controller to optimize and stabilize the evaporation and drying processes. The system has enabled Glanbia to increase production while meeting the strict quality levels required for the production of food products.
